grilled whisky carrots

marinated fresh figs
Tender sweet whisky carrots. A treat and feast in every way.

The beauty and abundance of color of these heirloom carrots with the hint of sweet whisky and thyme are a festive side dish to any celebration dinner you will give.

I’m not really the booze drinker or drinker at all. But alcohol does give very nice tastes to certain foods and the good thing is the alcohol evaporates anyway in the cooking process. So a great healthy ,no guilt, sweet side dish at your dinner table.

Preparing your Christmas menu, this side dish is can bel made in advance. Store the grilled carrot in the fridge for approx. 2 days.
Before serving, warm the carrots in their buttery honey sauce in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes at 160 degrees .
Voila no Christmas dinner table stress at all!
